Tax and accounting for people who want a straight answer.
Individual and business returns, bookkeeping, and practical financial advice for families and small businesses across the South Shore and Greater Boston.
What I do
Flat, quoted fees wherever possible. You'll know the cost before the work starts.
Individual tax
Federal and Massachusetts returns, multi-state filings, rental income, stock and equity compensation, and planning for next year so there are fewer surprises in April.
Business tax
Returns for sole proprietors, LLCs, S corporations and partnerships, quarterly estimates, and research and development tax credit studies for companies that design, build or write software.
Bookkeeping
Monthly books in QuickBooks or Xero, reconciled and ready for tax time, with a short monthly summary so you always know where the business stands.
Budgeting advice
A clear household or business budget built around your actual numbers, with a plan for cash flow, savings and debt that you can follow without a spreadsheet degree.
Business formation
Choosing between a sole proprietorship, LLC or S corporation, filing with the state, getting an EIN, registering with the Massachusetts DOR, and setting up books and estimated taxes so the first year starts clean. Agreements and contracts go to an attorney I can refer you to.
Business consulting
Entity selection, pricing and margin reviews, cash flow forecasting, and help reading your own financials so decisions get made on numbers instead of guesses.
Three steps, no office visit required
A short call
Fifteen minutes to understand your situation and quote a fee. If I'm not the right fit, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Send documents securely
You upload everything to an encrypted client portal, or I come to you if paper is easier. Nothing goes over email.
Review and sign
We go through the return together before anything is filed, so you understand what you're signing and what to expect next year.
